BEYOND DIGITAL TWINS

Digital Twins are the Start, not the Finish

The challenge is not proving that a pack can be rendered; it is producing trusted content at enterprise scale when the catalogue is constantly changing.

The difficulty appears when the ambition moves from pilot to production.

Real catalogues bring constant packaging updates, market-specific artworks, retailer specifications, and frequent campaign refreshes. At that point, the question stops being “can we render a pack or product?” and becomes “can we produce trusted content predictably, at enterprise volume, with the same confidence we expect from packaging itself?”

This is also where many generative approaches create friction.

When output is probabilistic, governance becomes difficult: brand drift, claim inaccuracies, inconsistent layouts, and escalating rework become structural risks rather than edge cases. For packaging, where accuracy is non-negotiable, that uncertainty is often the limiting factor.
